- ICE names Lynn Martin President and COO of Data Services
Lynn Martin has been named President and COO of the Intercontinental Exchange's Data Services, where she will manage the global data teams and platforms including ICE and NYSE market data, SuperDerivatives, the SFTI network and colocation business. She previously served as COO of ICE Clear U.S. Martin joined NYSE Euronext in 2001 and has served in a number of leadership roles, including CEO of NYSE Liffe U.S.
- BitFury adds former CFTC chairman James Newsome to advisory board
BitFury Group, a leading Bitcoin Blockchain infrastructure provider and transaction processing company added Dr. James Newsome, ex-Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and former CEO of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and Hernando de Soto, the President of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD), to its advisory board.
In 2004, Newsome became President and Chief Executive Officer of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). He is currently a founding partner of Delta Strategy Group, a government affairs firm located in Washington, DC.
- John Roeser Named Associate Director of the Office of Market Supervision
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it has named John C. Roeser as Associate Director and deputy head of the Office of Market Supervision in its Division of Trading and Markets. Mr. Roeser will assume his new role immediately.
Roeser replaces Heather Seidel who was named in February as Chief Counsel for the Division of Trading and Markets. The division’s Office of Market Supervision oversees U.S. securities exchanges, alternative trading systems and self-regulatory organizations, and addresses issues involving market participants, products, and market structure.

- Singapore exchange appoints Loh Boon Chye as new CEO
Top banker Loh Boon Chye was appointed on Monday as the new chief executive officer of Singapore Exchange, to lead the revival of Southeast Asia's biggest bourse.
Loh, 51, will commence his appointment on July 14. Welcoming the appointment, the Chairman of Singapore Exchange (SGX), Chew Choon Seng said, "We are pleased to welcome Boon Chye as the new CEO. He is very well regarded by everyone and respected as an accomplished leader and team manager. Boon Chye is no stranger to SGX and his knowledge and extensive experience in capital markets equip him well to take SGX forward."
- Trading block holdings appoints Paul Finnegan as Chief Executive Officer
Trading Block Holdings Inc., a financial technology and services holding company and parent company of AOS, Inc., which does business as TradingBlock and MoneyBlock, leading online brokerage businesses serving investment professionals and their clients, self-directed investors and traders, announced the appointment of Paul Finnegan as Chief Executive Officer.
